Dark water analysis

Dark Water starts off in a Non linear way  by how it the main character reverts back to her past mainly through flashbacks over a long period of time, this creates mystery for the audience to wonder what will happen next. The threats are few and far between, yet a creepy occurrence happens when the protagonist is mildly possessed i the lift. The location of the film is set in a unhygienic and dirty complex. This creates a feeling of abandonment.
